Olmsted 200 Digital Website and Book Launch
In recognition of the bicentennial of the birth of Frederick Law Olmsted, Sr., 亚洲精品无码一区 is launching a comprehensive online digital guide to the public works of the prolific landscape architect and his successor firms. Modeled after 亚洲精品无码一区鈥檚 interactive online city and regional guides, What鈥檚 Out There: The Landscape Architecture Legacy of Frederick Law Olmsted will feature more than 200 landscapes in the United States and Canada, some well-recognized as Olmsted designs and others that will be new to many. The online resource will also include biographies of practitioners in the firms鈥 employ, as well as frequent collaborators and consultants to the firm. The guide will make visible and more accessible a remarkable number of Olmsted designed landscapes that continue to inspire the Landscape Architecture profession, and most importantly, bring enjoyment to millions every day.
To accompany the online guide, 亚洲精品无码一区 is working in concert with Timber Press which will publish a printed guidebook to Olmsted鈥檚 landscapes in the fall. Check back soon for more information.
